The Literature Section is delighted to welcome James Chapman, Professor
of Film at the University of Leicester, who will be speaking on
“British Films and the Pleasure Culture of War”
Professor Chapman’s research focuses on British popular culture and he
has published widely on topics ranging from Doctor Who, James Bond, Dick
Barton, The Avengers, and the British historical film.
